Blood Incantation is an American death metal band from Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2011, they are considered one of the most influential acts in the underground death metal scene.

The band's breakout release was their debut album, Starspawn, which was released in 2016 to critical acclaim. Starspawn featured intense, atmospheric and technical death metal and cemented Blood Incantation's place as one of the most important death metal bands of the modern era.

The band followed up Starspawn with their 2019 album, Hidden History of the Human Race. The album was an even bigger success, further solidifying Blood Incantation's place in the death metal pantheon. The album featured a mix of dark and melodic death metal, with plenty of technicality and atmosphere.

Blood Incantation has become renowned for their ability to mix technicality, atmosphere, and melody into their music. Some of their standout songs include "Slave Species of the Gods," "Inner Paths (to Outer Space)," and "Awakening from the Dream of Existence to the Multidimensional Nature of Our Reality (Mirror of the Soul)."

An interesting fact about Blood Incantation is that all of their members are also members of other bands in the Denver music scene. Drummer Isaac Faulk is also in the band Spectral Voice, while guitarist Morris Kolontyrsky is in the band Primitive Man.
