Benjamin Luxon is a British baritone and singer-songwriter. He was born in 1940 in Harlow, Essex, England, and began his career as a singer with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in 1967. He has gone on to become one of the most celebrated baritones in the world. He has won numerous awards, including a Grammy and a BBC Award for his recording of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem.

Luxon is known for his interpretations of English classical music, particularly the works of Benjamin Britten, as well as for his performances of popular music. He has released several solo albums, including Benjamin Luxon Sings Schubert (1971), Benjamin Luxon Sings Schubert & Mendelssohn (1973), Benjamin Luxon Sings Songs Of Home (1975), Benjamin Luxon Sings English Songs (1977), and Benjamin Luxon Sings Britten (1978).
