Beirut Vinyl Records

Beirut is an indie folk-rock band from New York City, led by Zach Condon. The band was formed in 2006, and has since released five full-length albums, four EPs, and a live album.

Their standout albums include Gulag Orkestar (2006), The Flying Club Cup (2007), The Rip Tide (2011), and No No No (2015). Gulag Orkestar is the band's debut album and is considered to be their best work, garnering critical acclaim and commercial success. The Flying Club Cup features a number of French and Eastern European influences and is often cited as one of the best albums of 2007. The Rip Tide is an ambitious album that combines the band's signature indie folk-rock sound with more experimental elements. No No No is the band's most recent album, and features a mix of upbeat pop-rock and contemplative folk songs.

Beirut's most well-known songs include "Postcards from Italy", "Elephant Gun", "A Sunday Smile", "Goshen", and "Scenic World".

An interesting fact about Beirut is that Zach Condon recorded most of the tracks on their debut album, Gulag Orkestar, in his bedroom.
