Bauhaus Vinyl Records

Bauhaus is an English rock band, formed in Northampton, England in 1978. The band was founded by vocalist Peter Murphy, guitarist Daniel Ash, bassist David J and drummer Kevin Haskins. Bauhaus is widely regarded as one of the most influential bands of the gothic rock and post-punk genres.

The band's debut album, In the Flat Field, was released in 1980. It featured their most successful single, "Bela Lugosi's Dead", which has become an anthem for the gothic rock movement. The album was followed by The Sky's Gone Out (1982), Burning from the Inside (1983), and Go Away White (2008).

The band's most popular songs include "Dark Entries", "She's in Parties", and "The Passion of Lovers".

An interesting fact about Bauhaus is that the band was a major influence on the 1980s gothic rock scene and helped to define the genre. They are also credited with creating the "bat-wing" guitar design, which was used by many other gothic rock bands.
