Arthur Russell Vinyl Records

Arthur Russell was an American cellist, composer, and musician active in the downtown New York City music scene from the mid-1970s until his death in 1992. Russell worked in various genres, including punk, hip hop, and folk, and is best remembered for his avant-garde and experimental compositions.

His most acclaimed albums include Calling Out of Context (2004), World of Echo (1986), and Love Is Overtaking Me (2008). His standout songs include "Let's Go Swimming", "This Is How We Walk on the Moon", and "A Little Lost".

An interesting fact about Arthur Russell is that he was a self-taught musician who began playing cello at the age of 10. He was also an accomplished singer, songwriter, and producer who collaborated with many other influential musicians, including David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, and The Flying Pickets.
