Alt-J is an English indie rock band that was formed in 2007 by Gwil Sainsbury (guitar/bass), Joe Newman (guitar/vocals), Thom Sonny Green (drums) and Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboards/vocals). The band is known for their unique sound that blends elements of indie rock, folk, and electronic music. They have released three studio albums, An Awesome Wave (2012), This Is All Yours (2014), and Relaxer (2017).

An Awesome Wave is the band's debut album and is their most successful to date, reaching number 13 on the UK Albums Chart and winning the 2012 British Mercury Prize. The album contains the singles "Breezeblocks" and "Tessellate", which have become two of the band's most popular songs.

This Is All Yours is the band's second album and was released in 2014. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and contained the singles "Every Other Freckle" and "Left Hand Free".

Relaxer is the band's third album and was released in 2017. The album reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart and contained the singles "3WW" and "In Cold Blood".
