Agnes Obel is a Danish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She was born in Copenhagen in 1980 and began learning the piano from an early age. She has released four studio albums, Philharmonics (2010), Aventine (2013), Citizen of Glass (2016) and Myopia (2020).

Her standout albums include Philharmonics, which won her the Danish Music Award for Album of the Year in 2011, and Aventine, which reached number 2 in the UK Albums Chart.
