Adam Ant Vinyl Records

Adam Ant is a British musician, artist, and actor who rose to fame in the 1980s. Born as Stuart Leslie Goddard, he started his music career in 1976, when he joined the punk band Bazooka Joe. In 1977, he adopted the stage name Adam Ant and formed his own band, Adam and the Ants.

Adam and the Ants released their debut album, Dirk Wears White Sox, in 1979, and the band went on to release three more studio albums: Kings of the Wild Frontier (1980), Prince Charming (1981) and Friend or Foe (1982). The band had great success in the UK with their singles "Stand and Deliver", "Antmusic" and "Prince Charming".

Adam Ant embarked on a solo career in 1983, releasing his debut solo album, Friend or Foe. He achieved more success in the US than he did in the UK, with singles such as "Goody Two Shoes" and "Strip". He released two more albums in the 1980s, Vive Le Rock (1985) and Manners and Physique (1990).

Adam Ant's most successful album is probably Kings of the Wild Frontier, which spawned the hit singles "Antmusic" and "Stand and Deliver". Other notable songs from Adam Ant include "Goody Two Shoes", "Strip", "Room at the Top" and "Apollo 9".

An interesting fact about Adam Ant is that he was one of the first musicians to use the New Romantic style of music and fashion. He has also been known to dress up in flamboyant costumes for his live performances.
