A Perfect Circle is an American rock supergroup formed in 1999 by singer/guitarist Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel. The band has released four studio albums and have had several chart-topping singles.

The band's most notable album is their 2003 release, Thirteenth Step, which debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200. It featured the singles "Weak and Powerless" and "The Outsider" which both charted in the top 10 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

The band's most recent album, Eat the Elephant, was released in 2018 and featured the singles "TalkTalk" and "Disillusioned".

An interesting fact about the band is that their name comes from a lyric in the song "Three Libras" from the band's debut album, Mer de Noms. The lyric reads "A Perfect Circle, with no defects to criticize".
