In 2016 the time has come: With "The Real Royal Albert Hall 1966 Concert" there is finally the real recording of the legendary concert on double LP.Originally, an album with this title was released in 1998 as a bootleg version. However, it is mistakenly the recording of a show from Manchester, instead of from the Royal Albert Hall.Bob Dylan was just 25 years old when he went on a big concert tour through Great Britain, Europe, Australia and the USA with his band in 1966. In the process, the singer-songwriter made a stop at London's legendary Royal Albert Hall on May 26 and 27 of that year. To mark the 50th anniversary of his world tour, Dylan is now releasing the recording in 2016.A total of 15 songs made it onto the live album, including classics like "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Just Like A Woman" and "Like A Rolling Stone". Another highlight is the blues song "Tell Me, Momma", which the singer played almost exclusively on this tour and which has never been on an album before.Dylan received musical support in London from the musicians Robbie Robertson (guitar), Rick Danko (bass, background vocals), Richard Manuel (piano), Garth Hudson (organ) and Mickey Jones (drums) - also known as The Hawks.
