  • The Californian duo De Lux presents its second album after the debut "Voyage" from 2014. Their influences can be described as a synthesis of post-punk, disco, Funk and synthesizer wizardry.

Their sound draws its inspiration from the combination of restlessness and serenity, creating a distinctive trademark: danceable social criticism. De Lux used punk performance artist Karen Finley's debut album (1987) as a model during the album recording process. It is a darker album, full of 'urban anxiety' and daringly outspoken.

On the eleven songs De Lux draw the distance between childhood and adulthood, nostalgia and expectation, dream and reality - all with an autobiographical view.

For fans of David Byrne, Talking Heads, Bryan Ferry, Roxy Music, Holy Ghost, LCD Soundsystem or Arcade Fire.
