Van Halen Vinyl Records

Van Halen is an American rock band formed in Pasadena, California in 1972. The band consists of brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen, vocalist David Lee Roth and bassist Michael Anthony. They are considered one of the most successful and influential hard rock bands of all time.

Van Halen's breakout album was their self-titled debut in 1978, which featured the hit singles "Runnin' With the Devil", "Jamie's Cryin'", "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" and "You Really Got Me". The band released a total of 11 studio albums, including the hits 1984, 5150 and Balance. Their most commercially successful single was the 1984 hit "Jump".

Some of Van Halen's other standout songs include "Hot for Teacher", "Panama", "Dance the Night Away", "Dreams" and "Right Now".

An interesting fact about Van Halen is that they were the first band to place a non-musical item in the liner notes of an album. In their debut album, they included a packet of "brown M&M's" with the warning that if the band found any on their catering table, the show would be cancelled. This was a way for them to check if the venue was following their stage setup instructions.
