Glenn Fallows, Mark Treffel – The Globeflower Masters Vol. 1

"The Globeflower Masters Vol. 1" is inspired by classic film composers such as Axelrod, Morricone, Gainsbourg, Jean-Claude Vannier and Piero Umiliani.

The album was born out of a fruitful collaboration between Brighton-based musicians Glenn Fallows (The Impellers, Andres y Xavi) and Mark Treffel (Blue States, The Soul Steppers) in the summer of 2020.

Treffel had an arsenal of vintage synthesizers, pianos and other fun toys to complement the drums, guitars and bass Fallows was working with.

The label Mr Bongo thinks it's as accomplished a debut album as you'll ever hear, and dares to say it's a future classic.
