Girl power from South London. in 2017, South London revitalized the sound of an entire city. The melting pot of this new movement was The Windmill club in Brixton, where bands like Shame or HMLTD had their first gigs. Goat Girl also dared to take their first steps on stage there.2018 saw the release of their self-titled debut, which put the four musicians in the smoky spotlight of the scene overnight. At present, the mill wings in The Windmill are also at a standstill due to corona, but Lottie Cream, guitarist L.E.D, drummer Rosy Bones and new bassist Holly Hole have been all the more active."On All Fours", like its predecessor, was produced by Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, black midi, Franz Ferdinand) and shows new facets of the band. The sound was expanded with synthesizer sounds, drum machine loops and other experimental sounds. Of course, the dry guitars and the biting political lyrics have remained."On All Fours" paints a picture of a generation growing up in post-Brexit times and having to learn to live with the consequences.
