Gilbert O'Sullivan

Gilbert O'Sullivan is an Irish singer-songwriter best known for his 1970s hits such as "Alone Again (Naturally)," "Clair," and "Get Down." He has released twelve studio albums, including his 1972 debut Himself and his 1973 follow-up Back to Front, which contained "Alone Again (Naturally)" and "Clair." His 1975 album, I'm A Writer Not A Fighter, featured the singles "Matrimony" and "Happiness Is Me and You." His 1977 album, A Stranger in My Own Back Yard, featured the hit single "Get Down."

Gilbert O'Sullivan's most successful album was 1991's Off Centre, which included the singles "What's In A Kiss" and "Can't Think Straight." His most recent studio album, Latin Ala G!, was released in 2018.

An interesting fact about Gilbert O'Sullivan is that he is one of the few songwriters to have his work covered by all four of the Beatles. Paul McCartney covered "Alone Again (Naturally)" in 1972, John Lennon covered "Nothing Rhymed" in 1971, Ringo Starr covered "Out of the Question" in 1973, and George Harrison covered "We Will" in 1974.
