John Prine's 2005 album Fair & Square, winner of the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. It is the singer-songwriter's 15th album and also achieved the fastest rise to #1 in Americana radio history.

The album marked a number of milestones for Prine, as it was his first album in nine years since 1995's Lost Dogs and Mixed Blessings, as well as his first release after marrying his wife and current president of Oh Boy Records, Fiona Whelan. Considered one of the most important poets in the English language, Prine is a four-time Grammy winner, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, seven-time Americana Music Award winner, PEN New England Lyrics Award winner, and a member of both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
