  • "Mighty Joe Moon" is the second studio album of the alternative rock band from Los Angeles. The highest chart position reached the album in Norway with number 1 in the album charts.

    The public first discovered Grant Lee Phillips' thoughtful, literary songwriting in the context of the rock band Grant Lee Buffalo, a trio that found success in 1993 with the debut "Fuzzy." The title track catapulted the group to international recognition. Grant Lee Buffalo followed up "Fuzzy" with the 1994 album "Mighty Joe Moon" (featuring the modern rock hit "Mockingbirds") and two more well-received albums, "Copperopolis" (1996) and "Jubilee" (1998).
