Released in 1964, the live album shows why the trio became one of the defining voices of the early 1960s American folk revival: three-part harmonies, clear acoustic arrangements and a poised stage presence that made political songs feel immediate and accessible. Their readings of material associated with Bob Dylan and others helped bring folk music into the mainstream, while signature pieces such as Blowin' in the Wind and Puff (The Magic Dragon) reinforced their crossover reach. It remains one of their most important releases.
