Iggy Pop's debut album, The Idiot, was released in 1977. It featured the singles "Lust for Life" and "The Passenger". His follow-up album, Lust for Life, was released in 1977 and was a critical and commercial success, featuring the hit single "Success". Other standout albums include New Values (1979), Blah-Blah-Blah (1986), Brick by Brick (1990), and Beat 'Em Up (2001).

Iggy Pop has released numerous popular singles over the course of his career, including "Lust for Life", "The Passenger", "Candy", "Real Wild Child", and "I Wanna Be Your Dog".
