Foreigner Vinyl Records
Foreigner is an English-American rock band formed in 1976 in New York City. The band was founded by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Mick Jones, lead vocalist and keyboardist Lou Gramm, bassist Ed Gagliardi, and drummer Dennis Elliott.
Foreigner's breakthrough album was their self-titled 1977 debut, which included the hits "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold as Ice". The album peaked at #4 on the US Billboard 200 and achieved 5Γ platinum status in the US. Their second album, Double Vision, released in 1978, produced the hit single "Hot Blooded", which reached #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Their most successful album is 1984's Agent Provocateur, which sold over 5 million copies in the US alone. The album featured the hit single "I Want to Know What Love Is", which reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the UK Singles Chart. Other standout songs from the album include "That Was Yesterday" and "Reaction to Action".
In addition to their success in the US, Foreigner has also achieved success in the UK, having released 18 singles that reached the UK Top 40. Their biggest UK hit was the 1984 single "I Want to Know What Love Is", which reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart.
