Father John Misty, also known as Josh Tillman, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Rockville, Maryland. He was originally a drummer for the Seattle-based indie rock band Fleet Foxes before releasing his debut solo album Fear Fun in 2012. His music blends elements of folk, country, psychedelia, and pop.

His standout albums include Fear Fun, I Love You, Honeybear, Pure Comedy, and God’s Favorite Customer. Popular singles include “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings”, “Chateau Lobby #4”, and “Mr. Tillman”.
