Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. They formed in Paris in 1993 and quickly gained recognition for their unique and innovative sound, which blends elements of house, techno, and disco music.

Their debut album, Homework (1997), was a major success and featured the hit singles “Da Funk” and “Around the World”. It also showcased their use of samples and looping to create their signature sound.

Their next album, Discovery (2001), cemented their status as one of the most influential electronic acts of all time. It featured the iconic singles “One More Time” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.

Daft Punk’s most recent album, Random Access Memories (2013), was their most successful to date and featured the hit singles “Get Lucky” and “Lose Yourself to Dance”.

Daft Punk are also well known for their live performances, which often feature elaborate costumes and visuals.

An interesting fact about Daft Punk is that they have won a total of six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for Random Access Memories (2013).
