Brian Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known as the co-founder, leader, and primary songwriter of the Beach Boys. Wilson is often regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of popular music, and is considered a genius for his innovative production techniques and songwriting capabilities. His most notable works include the Beach Boys albums Pet Sounds (1966) and Smile (1967). Some of Wilson's standout albums include Pet Sounds, Sunflower (1970), and That Lucky Old Sun (2008). His standout songs include "Good Vibrations," "God Only Knows," "Don't Worry Baby," and "In My Room." An interesting fact about Brian Wilson is that he suffered from severe mental health issues throughout his life, and was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the early 1970s. Despite this, he has continued to make music and tour, and in 2016 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
