Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter, author, and visual artist who has been an influential figure in popular music and culture for more than five decades. His career began in the early 1960s when he emerged as a major figure in the folk music revival. He released his self-titled debut album in 1962 and since then has released 39 studio albums and sold more than 125 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Dylan's standout albums include Blonde on Blonde (1966), Blood on the Tracks (1975), Oh Mercy (1989), and Time Out of Mind (1997). His most popular songs include "Blowin' in the Wind" (1962), "The Times They Are a-Changin'" (1964), "Like a Rolling Stone" (1965), "Lay Lady Lay" (1969), and "Tangled Up in Blue" (1975).

An interesting fact about Bob Dylan is that he has been awarded eleven Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and the Nobel Prize in Literature. He is the first musician to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, and only the sixth artist to receive all three awards.
