Bikini Kill Vinyl Records

Bikini Kill was an American punk rock band formed in Olympia, Washington, in October 1990. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Kathleen Hanna, guitarist Billy Karren, bassist Kathi Wilcox, and drummer Tobi Vail. Bikini Kill released their first EP, Revolution Girl Style Now, in 1991. This was followed by their first full-length album, Pussy Whipped, in 1993. The album featured the fan-favorite single "Rebel Girl," which is often credited as being the start of the riot grrrl movement. Bikini Kill's final studio album was Reject All American, which was released in 1996. The band disbanded in 1998. The band's most well-known songs are "Rebel Girl," "I Like Fucking," "Suck My Left One," and "Double Dare Ya." An interesting fact about Bikini Kill is that they are credited with introducing a new sound to punk music. The band combined elements of punk and feminism in their songs and performances, creating a unique sound that is still influential today.
