Asia Vinyl Records

Asia is an English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1981. The band originally consisted of members from different progressive rock bands, including Yes, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and The Buggles.

The group's debut album, Asia, was released in 1982 and reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and number four on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned the hit singles "Heat of the Moment" and "Only Time Will Tell". Their second album, Alpha, was released in 1983 and reached number five in the US and number six in the UK. It featured the hit singles "Don't Cry" and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes".

Asia's most successful album was the 1986 release Astra, which reached number five in the UK and number 17 in the US. It featured the singles "Go" and "Voice of America".

An interesting fact about Asia is that their lineup has changed over the years, with the current lineup consisting of John Payne, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, and Sam Coulson. The band has released 10 studio albums and has sold over 20 million records worldwide.
