Alternative Rock
Alternative Rock is a broad genre of rock music that emerged in the 1980s and became widely popular in the 1990s. The style is generally characterized by a heavy emphasis on guitars and an overall edgier sound than traditional rock music. It often features unconventional or non-traditional song structures, vocal styles, and instrumentation.
