    Tuff Enuff is the Fabulous Thunderbirds’ breakthrough album, the record that pushed the Austin blues-rock outfit into wider mainstream view. Released in 1986, it paired the band’s tough bar-band sound with tighter songwriting and radio-ready hooks, led by the title track and their punchy cover of "Wrap It Up". The result was a more accessible take on blues rock that still kept the group’s rootsy swagger intact. Long associated with the mid-1980s revival of guitar-driven roots rock, the album helped define the band’s most commercially successful period and remains their best-known statement.
