Ten Years After Undead is an LP by Ten Years After from 1968 released on the Deram label.
About this album
Undead is the breakthrough live album that helped establish Ten Years After as one of Britain’s most exciting blues-rock acts. Recorded at the Marquee Club in London and released in 1968, it captures Alvin Lee’s fast, fluid guitar style and the group’s tight, hard-driving interplay at full tilt. The performance turns American blues influences into something sharper and more urgent, with extended workouts on material such as I May Be Wrong, But I Won’t Be Wrong Always and I’m Going Home showing the band’s instinct for improvisation and momentum. It remains an early statement of the power trio-plus-organ sound that would define their rise.
