The Seeds Of Love is an LP by Tears For Fears from 1989 released on the Fontana label.
About this album
The Seeds of Love is Tears For Fears’ most ambitious and expansive album, lifting their synth-pop origins into ornate pop-rock. Released in 1989, it followed the huge success of Songs from the Big Chair and showed Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith working with a fuller, more elaborate sound rooted in live instrumentation, brass and lush arrangements. Led by the hit Sowing the Seeds of Love and the powerful Woman in Chains, the album became a major international success and a defining late-1980s statement. Its blend of hook-driven songwriting, social unease and polished musicianship helped secure Tears For Fears’ place among the era’s most distinctive British pop acts.
