Ringo is an LP by Ringo Starr from 1973 released on the Apple Records label.
About this album
Ringo is Ringo Starr’s strongest and most fully realised solo album, turning the former Beatle’s easygoing charm into a genuine pop-rock showcase. Released in 1973, it brought together an exceptional cast including George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, with Richard Perry producing the polished, radio-friendly sound. The album yielded some of Starr’s best-known solo moments, especially Photograph and the hit You're Sixteen, and also includes I’m the Greatest, a sharp Lennon-penned opener. Its blend of melodic craft, humour and high-profile collaboration helped establish Starr as more than a supporting figure from the Beatles era; here, he sounds like a natural frontman in his own right.
