The Wall is an LP by Pink Floyd from 1979 released on the CBS label.
About this album
The Wall is Pink Floyd’s most famous concept album, a bleak and ambitious rock opera about isolation, fame and psychological collapse. Released in 1979, the double album became one of the band’s defining statements, driven by Roger Waters’ narrative vision and the group’s blend of prog rock scale and art-rock detail. Produced with Bob Ezrin, it delivered some of Pink Floyd’s best-known material, including Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2), Hey You and Mother. Its stark story, huge commercial success and cultural reach made it one of the most influential albums of the late 1970s.
