    In Through the Out Door is a striking late-period Led Zeppelin album, notable for shifting the band’s hard-rock attack towards keyboards, atmosphere and loosely arranged songs. Released in 1979 and produced with longtime ally Jimmy Page, it was largely shaped by John Paul Jones and featured the chart-topping single All My Love alongside the enduring Fool in the Rain. The record arrived after a period of silence and showed a band searching for new territory rather than repeating its earlier riffs. It became a US No. 1 album and, as the final studio statement issued before John Bonham’s death, carries extra weight in the group’s history.
