Ace Frehley is an LP by Kiss, Ace Frehley from 1978 released on the Casablanca label.
About this album
Ace Frehley is the standout solo debut from Kiss’s lead guitarist, balancing hard-rock swagger with a sharper melodic instinct than fans might expect. Issued in 1978, when each Kiss member released a solo album, it was the most commercially successful of the set and helped define Frehley’s identity beyond the band. Built around punchy originals such as Rip It Out and Ozone, the record also features the signature cover of New York Groove, which became his best-known solo hit. Its muscular sound and hook-heavy writing made it one of the most enduring solo albums to emerge from the Kiss era.
