Warehouse: Songs And Stories is an LP by Hüsker Dü from 1987 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.
About this album
Warehouse: Songs And Stories is the ambitious late-period statement that showed Hüsker Dü moving far beyond hardcore without losing its urgency. Released in 1987, the double album finds the trio balancing punk velocity, melodic hooks and more reflective songwriting, with Bob Mould and Grant Hart both contributing some of their strongest material. Songs such as These Important Years and Could You Be The One? helped define the band’s bridge from underground punk to the wider alternative rock era. Its scale, restless energy and emotional range make it one of Hüsker Dü’s most significant releases and a key influence on later indie and alt-rock bands.
