Tusk is an LP by Fleetwood Mac from 1979 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.
About this album
Tusk is Fleetwood Mac’s most adventurous studio statement, a bold 1979 double album that pushed far beyond the polished success of Rumours. Led by Lindsey Buckingham’s restless ambition, the record mixed pop craft with jagged textures, stripped-back arrangements and a more experimental edge, while still delivering enduring songs such as Sara, Think About Me and Tusk. Recorded after the immense pressure of global superstardom, it reflected a band deliberately refusing to repeat itself. Although its initial reception was more divided than its predecessor, Tusk has since become widely regarded as one of Fleetwood Mac’s most interesting and influential albums.
