Elvis' Golden Records is a landmark hits compilation that turns Presley’s first great run of singles into a concise statement of rock and roll’s rise. Issued in 1958, it gathered the songs that had already made him a national force, including Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, Don’t Be Cruel, Jailhouse Rock and All Shook Up.
