    Derek & Clive’s Live is a notorious burst of boundary-pushing comedy from Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, turning stage banter into something far more vicious, chaotic and unpredictable. Issued in 1976, the album captured the pair’s improvised Derek and Clive characters at their crudest, mixing black humour, profanity and gleeful bad taste into a deliberately unpolished spoken-word performance. Its shock value made it a cult landmark, influencing later alternative and transgressive comedy by proving that taboos could be used as the punchline rather than the barrier.
