    Landed is a sharp, unsettling turn in Can’s 1975 catalogue, pushing their krautrock language further into raw funk, noise and fractured song forms. By this stage the German group had already become central to experimental rock, and the album shows why: it pares songs down to rhythmic instinct, jarring textures and improvised momentum rather than conventional structure. Full Moon on the Highway, Hunters and Collectors and Red Hot Indians point to the band’s ability to make abrasion feel mobile and immediate. Landed helped cement Can’s reputation as one of the most inventive and uncompromising groups of the era.
