Desire is an LP by Bob Dylan from 1976 released on the CBS label.
About this album
Desire is one of Bob Dylan’s most distinctive 1970s albums, blending folk-rock storytelling with a more expansive, adventurous musical palette. Released in 1976, it was co-produced by Dylan and Don DeVito and features the violin work of Scarlet Rivera, whose presence helps define the record’s dramatic, roaming sound. The album’s centrepiece, “Hurricane”, turned social protest into a full-scale narrative song, while pieces such as “Isis”, “One More Cup Of Coffee” and “Sara” showed Dylan moving between romance, travel and personal reflection with unusual force. Widely regarded as a key late-period statement, it became one of his most acclaimed albums.
