Post is Björk at her most inventive, expanding her solo sound into a bold blend of pop, trip-hop, jazz and experimental electronics. Released in 1995, the album followed Debut and pushed her further from convention, pairing playful melodies with restless production and sharp emotional contrasts. Army Of Me, Hyper-Ballad, Isobel and It's Oh So Quiet became defining songs, showing how she could move from abrasive rhythm to tender intimacy and theatrical wit without losing cohesion. Its adventurous range and lasting influence helped make Post one of the most celebrated albums of the 1990s.
