T.N.T. is the raw early statement that helped define AC/DC’s hard-rock identity. Issued in 1975, the Australian EP captures the band before international fame, already built on Angus Young’s ferocious riffs, Malcolm Young’s tight rhythm work and Bon Scott’s swaggering voice. Alongside the title track, songs such as “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ’N’ Roll)” and “The Jack” show how the group fused blues-rock drive with blunt, muscular hook-writing. Fierce, direct and built for volume, the record became an important stepping stone in AC/DC’s rise and a key part of their early catalogue.
