XTC Vinyl Records

XTC (also known as The Dukes of Stratosphear) is an English rock band formed in Swindon, Wiltshire in 1972. The band achieved critical acclaim and commercial success throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s with albums such as White Music (1978), Drums and Wires (1979), Black Sea (1980), and English Settlement (1982).

XTC's music is a mix of psychedelia, new wave, post-punk, and British Invasion rock. Notable songs include "Making Plans for Nigel," "Senses Working Overtime," and "Dear God." The band has also released a number of critically acclaimed albums such as Oranges & Lemons (1989) and Apple Venus Volume 1 (1999).

An interesting fact about XTC is that they were one of the first bands to achieve success without a manager. Instead, they used a legal team to handle their affairs, which allowed them to have complete control over their music and image. This was in contrast to many other bands of the time, who relied heavily on their managers to promote them and secure record deals.
