Wa Wa Nee Vinyl Records

Wa Wa Nee was an Australian pop and dance music band formed in Sydney in 1984. The band consisted of lead vocalist Paul Gray, guitarist Steve Williams, bassist Mark Gray, and drummer Paul Berryman.

Their self-titled debut album, Wa Wa Nee, was released in 1986 and spawned their biggest hit singles "Stimulation" and "Sugar Free". Both singles reached the top 10 of the Australian charts and earned the band four ARIA Music Award nominations.

Their second album, Blush, was released in 1988 and featured the single "I Could Make You Love Me", which reached the top 10 in Australia.

The band released their third album, Worldwize, in 1989, but it was their last studio album. They disbanded in 1990.

Wa Wa Nee's music is often described as a mix of R&B, funk, and pop. Their signature sound is characterized by catchy, soulful choruses and a danceable groove.

An interesting fact about Wa Wa Nee is that their name was derived from the Maori phrase "Wa Wa Nee", which means "to come alive".
