Toni Childs is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame in the late 1980s. She is best known for her 1989 album Union, which featured the hit singles "Don't Walk Away," "Stop Your Fussin'" and "The Dead Are Dancing." Her follow-up album House of Hope was released in 1991 and spawned the hit single "I've Got to Go Now," which reached number one on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Childs released her third album, the gospel-tinged The Woman's Boat, in 1996, and her fourth album, Keep the Faith, in 1999. Her most recent studio album, Citizen of the Planet, was released in 2005.
