To celebrate its 80 years of existence Blue Note Records created the Tone Poet Audiophile Vinyl Reissue Series.

The series of Audiophile Jazz reissues is all analog and mastered from the original master tapes by "tone Poet" Joe Harley. Don Was hired Joe to produce the 180 gram audiophile vinyl reissues in deluxe gatefold packaging.
