The Turtles Vinyl Records

The Turtles were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Westchester, California. The original lineup included Howard Kaylan, Mark Volman, Al Nichol, Jim Tucker, and Chuck Portz. The Turtles were one of the first bands to have a number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with their song "Happy Together" in 1967. The band is best known for their other hits, including "She'd Rather Be With Me" (1967), "Elenore" (1968), and "You Showed Me" (1969).

The Turtles released five studio albums between 1965 and 1970. Their first album, It Ain't Me Babe, was released in 1965 and featured their breakthrough hit single, "Happy Together". The Turtles also released the albums You Baby (1966), Turtle Soup (1969), Wooden Head (1970), and The Turtles Present the Battle of the Bands (1968).
