The Troggs Vinyl Records

The Troggs, or The Troglodytes, are an English rock band formed in 1964 in Andover, Hampshire. The band members are Reg Presley (vocals), Chris Britton (guitar), Pete Staples (bass) and Ronnie Bond (drums).

The Troggs achieved their greatest success with their 1966 single “Wild Thing”, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and number one in the United States. Other notable hits include “With a Girl Like You” (1966), “Love Is All Around” (1967), and “Night of the Long Grass” (1968).

The Troggs released their debut album, From Nowhere, in 1966. This was followed by the albums Cellophane (1967) and Mixed Bag (1968). The Troggs' greatest hits album, Greatest Hits, was released in 1975 and featured many of their most popular songs.

An interesting fact about The Troggs is that their lead singer, Reg Presley, wrote the song “Love Is All Around”, which was later covered by Wet Wet Wet and became a huge international hit.
