The Replacements Vinyl Records

The Replacements are an American rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formed in 1979, the band consisted of singer and guitarist Paul Westerberg, guitarist Bob Stinson, bassist Tommy Stinson and drummer Chris Mars. The Replacements were one of the most influential alternative rock bands of the 1980s, with a sound that combined punk, folk, country and pop.

The Replacements released six studio albums during their career, with their most successful being the 1984 album Let It Be. The album featured the singles “I Will Dare” and “Unsatisfied”, both of which became college radio favorites. Other notable albums include their 1985 release Tim and their 1989 release Don't Tell a Soul.

The Replacements are known for their high-energy live performances, and some of their most famous songs include “Bastards of Young”, “Alex Chilton”, “Left of the Dial”, “Can't Hardly Wait”, and “I Will Dare”.

An interesting fact about The Replacements is that they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
