The Black Sorrows Vinyl Records

The Black Sorrows are an Australian blues/rock/soul band that was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1984. The founding members were Joe Camilleri (lead vocals, guitar), Nick Smith (guitar, vocals), Steve Hadley (bass), and Joe Creighton (drums). The band has released 10 studio albums, and over the years have had a rotating cast of musicians.

Their most successful album was their third, Harley and Rose, which was released in 1985. It was certified double platinum in Australia and spawned four hit singles, including the No. 1 hit single “Chained to the Wheel”. Other popular songs from the album include “Harley and Rose”, “Hold On To Me” and “Love Is A Chain”.

Their fourth album, Better Times, was released in 1989 and was certified gold in Australia. It featured the singles “The Chosen Ones”, “Hold On To Me” and “Don’t Let Me Slip Away”.

The band's other notable albums include Hold On To Me (1992), Faithful Satellite (1995), The Chosen Ones (1998), and Certified Blue (2002).

One interesting fact about The Black Sorrows is that they have performed with some of the biggest names in music, including Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt and John Fogerty.
